There are a lot
of travel teams.
Here's the difference.
Two selected rosters out of Fort Wayne, coached by people who run college and high school programs the rest of the year, at 5 tournaments picked for the coaches who work them. Everything below is verifiable — that's the point.
- 01Not volunteers with a whistle
The coaches run their own programs
4 of the 5 coaches on this staff currently hold a head coaching job of their own — Edgewood University, Homestead High School, Bishop Dwenger High School and Carroll High School. Mitchell Wilkins spent 6 seasons as offensive coordinator at Indiana Tech before taking over the program at Edgewood University. The person coaching your player in July is running their own bench through the spring season — this is not summer-only help.
- 02Coaches on the sideline, film in your hands
Every summer stop is a recruiting weekend
All three summer tournaments were chosen for who works the sideline, not for who had room. Pipe City is the largest single-site summer tournament in the country and puts 75+ college coaches on the grass. Saginaw includes high school game film at no cost through Next Level Video. Chicago Showdown drew coaches from 16 programs in 2025 — Marquette among them.
- 03Box in January, field in June
The season doesn't end in July
Most travel programs go quiet after the summer. Revolt puts a second roster on the floor in January: box lacrosse, 6v6 inside a rink, where less space means faster hands and far more touches per possession than the field game allows. Two tournaments, both in Michigan, while everyone else waits for spring.
- 04The same group, every weekend
One roster, not a pickup team
Each program is a single roster for its whole window. The same players take both January tournaments, and the same players take all three summer stops across MI · IL. Nobody is assembled the Thursday before a weekend and nobody is added because a spot needed filling. A season run that way is long enough for a group of players to actually turn into a team.
